Orlando CPA ITIN Application Services
An ITIN, also known as Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number. The ITIN can only be issued through a Certifying Acceptance Agent or the IRS. It is issued irrespective of migration status because both local and non-resident aliens may have a U.S reporting or filing requirement under the Internal Revenue Code. This nine-digit number is only available to people who are obliged to have a taxpayer identification number for tax purposes, but who don’t have or not qualified to get a SSN or Social Security Number from the Social Security Administration or SSA.
Below are the process for applying ITIN and required documents needed:
Please read it carefully and prepare all the documents, as follows. (The documents have to be in scanned version always instead of cellphone pictures, except the original W7 forms need to be mailed.)
1. Arrange a time for online interview to validate supporting identification documentation proving foreign status and identity. Online interview could be conducted via skype, wechat, qq or other social messages tools. (If you are going to meet me in person, you don’t need to prepare this.)
2. The purchase contract with your signature and all pages of HUD (or CPA can ask the agent for these doc.)
3. Two W7 forms with clear and original signature. Please see attachment. You don’t need to fill out the form except the name. Please mail two original forms to this address: 2449 Southern Hills Ct, Oviedo, FL, 32765, Recipient: Youshan Zhao (Phone number:724-557-8193)
4. Clear scanned copies of passport page and visa page.
5. Your foreign residential address and contact phone number
6. Days and date period of entry to US in 2014, 2015 or 2016. Please be specific in month and date.
Clients please note that:
ITIN can not be used to claim EIC, can not take place of SSN, can not change legal employment status.
Entire application process usually takes 4-8 weeks
